2012 – Memorial Day Soccer Tournament

Friday May 25 thru Monday May 28, 2012
Where:
Afghan American Sports Association, a non-profit organization established in state of New Jersey in 1994, sponsors 2012 Memorial Weekend Soccer Tournament. AASA would like to cordially invite Afghan soccer teams from Virginia, New Jersey, New York, California, Canada and other countries in the world.
Participating teams need to register no later then May 15, 2012. A team is considered registered with AASA for the above event when:
- Participating Team are registered on line or participating Team Representative has sent a formal team roster to AASA, which must include player’s full name and full home address to AASA no later then May 15, 2012.
- Alternatively, team representative has contacted AASA administrator either in writing or verbally that they will participate in the above event no later then May 15, 2012.
- Participating Team Representative has sent a formal team roster to AASA, which must include player’s full name and full home address to AASA no later then May 15, 2012.
- Each player must have a valid picture ID for identification.
- The tournament fee for men soccer is one thousand dollars ($1000).
- The fee is due no later then May 15, 2012
- The event is taking place on turf field. We advise to ask your players to wear turf shoes ONLY. NO CLEATS WITH METAL STUDS!

Thursday night May 24th. At 8pm at Overpeck Park Amphitheater at Ridgefield Park, NJ
Accommodations:
We have negotiated preffered rates with Marriot at Glenponite, Teaneck, NJ. The full service hotel is located a few short miles from the field. Please book your rooms early under (AASA Memorial Day Soccer Tournament). Contact Number (201-836-0600) availability is limited.
